Friday

glitter finds its way everywhere
it is impossible to clean up

"i stare up and stars fall into my mouth
which is too small to explain how i am encompassed by thought and unbearably silently-breath
hiccuping
pinpricks and pinpoints of opal light freckling the sky that is
coal ash coal ash stretching eternities all heartbeating
all
at
once
can feel it in my chest, a throbbing compromised by what i was taught, all disrepect to this
inexplicable science a monogomous treachery while i reach out to touch comets and meteors
i am shadowed by the spots of life tenths-of-thousandths of screams away
and the insurmountable presence of nebulas and dust-explosions and sky-lava
that is acid consuming up my eyes burning and i cant
comprehend i can only
argue for the universe
the twisted black-hole avalanches burning through the
galaxies
solar systems rotating on so, so many strings of swirling noxious gases
blue-white and magma-red and black glittering obsidian

it pulses and we are so little just flickering glow-bugs in the backyard of a
dimension Jupiter-deep dark energy all around us and
the entropy increasing every time a heart breaks
moons illuminating our faces

as we pick apart the constellations like breakfast
for our hungry minds"

Thursday

it must be nice
to have warm hands all the time
no matter where i am
they get cold
